OPTIONS AVAILABLE WITH ALL CAPTEC STANDARD SENSORS
The following options are available with all our standard heat flux sensors and radiant
flux sensors:
• Shape: any shape is available according to a drawing
• Flexibility: standard sensors are rigid; all can come in a flexible version
on demand.
• Built-in T thermocouple: if you need to measure the temperature in addition
to the heat flux, a T thermo-couple can be built on demand in all heat and radiant
fluxmeters.
• Double sensitivity: all our sensors have a minimal sensitivity that depends
on their size and shape (e.g. 1 µV/W/m² for a 20mm x 20mm heat fluxmeter).
If a better sensitivity is required, opt for the double sensitivity sensor.
• Waterproofing: all heat flux sensors and radiant sensors can be made
waterproof on demand.

SENSORS FOR EXTREME CONDITIONS
CAPTEC will design and manufacture the heat flux and
radiant flux sensors to your specifications for operating
in extreme conditions: high temperature, projections or
deposits.
The Captherm™ sensor is a fluxmeter designed to measure heat or
radiant flow in extreme conditions.
The sensor can operate in very high temperature
environment thanks to its water-cooled system and a air-wall surface barrier.
